This week's JB Christmas card....

This week's challenge was to use acrylic paint!
Not such a great pic... I know...
I used a Heidi Swapp snowflake mask on white cs and then I spatter painted two shades of metallic blue paint over the whole sheet.
I had to move the mask three times to make it work on the 12x12.
Then I cut it into 4x4 squares,
matting each on the brushed silver cs and then onto the card base...
Some spectacular colour of blue from Bazzill.
I then cut a BIG snowflake from silver mirror cardstock, a smaller snowflake from white cs that I hit with a bit of Ballet Blue SU ink..
And finally a smaller snowflake from the extra bits of the blue cardstock that I used for the card base!
The BIG snowflake is mounted on pop dots so it is up off the card and I just HAD to add a small bit of bluesy sparkly fiber at the top.
It just needed a little sum'n-sum'n to finish it off!
SO, there will be 9 of them when all is said and done...
I am busy getting ready to scrap with my girlfriends this weekend and I NEED to prepare for that!
I do have the card bases cut...
Hmmmm...perhaps I'll take these along and finish them up!
What a good idea!
I am really en joying these weekly JB challenges!
Looking forward to seeing what this Friday's challenge is!
Pop on over and check it out if you like...

(and super bonus ninja points for figuring out how to get NINE out of the same set of supplies! GENIUS!) ♥
