I have been on a BIG card creating roll this week!!!
I squeeze in bits of time here & there...
... I LOVE the boost it gives me!
I combined two challenges for today's card.
The first challenge...

... gives you a theme to work with...
BUT
...they also ask you to pick a 'style'
Here's their link which explains them...
The second challenge...
... is this sketch...

This is how my card turned out...
I turned the sketch 90* counter-clockwise and moved the 'banner bitz'.
There's my butterfly theme and the 'style' I went with...
I'm saying it's "clean-shabby-vintage"
You're allowed to combine styles by the way.
;)
It's my usual 'style' to ink edges but this time I really wanted the pieces to be clean.
So, there it is.
I am LOVING participlaying in these challenges!
Thanks for popping by!
For not being your usual style, you created a gorgeous card! I'm saving it to Pinterest on my "Stamping-Music, maps and book backgrounds." I don't have any creations quite like yours posted there!
ReplyDeleteWow Kathy! Thank you! Please post your link here in the comments so I can see yours too! :)

DeleteLove your card Alli...that sweet and elegant butterfly was the perfect touch to add to the circle from the sketch. I love that you combined so many styles into one great card. Thank you for joining us at the Card Concept this week!
DeleteFabulous card Ali! A fine example of clean shabby vintage! Great choice of DP - the print paper does an awesome job of showcasing the pretty butterfly and the sweet wee banners that are peeking out along the edge! Lovely design that works to draw the eye to your main elements! Thanks so much for sharing your talent & creativity with us at the Card Concept Challenge :)
