Sketchy Thursdays!

Here's what I did with the sketch...
I work mostly in 'deuces'.
[ 'Deuce' = a two page layout]
So I expanded their sketch to accommodate my layout/picture needs.
These pictures are very special to me because they are the last pictures I have of my children with my Grandma.
I love how this layout turned out!
Here's what I used...
CS - AC red, Bazzill Walnut
PP - Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Farmer's Market and Ribbon Sandwich; 'Ancient' KMA and a Slab scrap for all the stamped elements
Ink - SU Rose Red
Zig Writer - Rose
SU Sets - Big Deal Alphabet [42/232]
Tidy Alphabet [43/232]
Tidy Numbers [44/232]
The journaling is on the BIG tabbed tag behind the highlighted 5x7 on the right side of the layout.
I transferred the three 'brad-like' elements to the far right of my layout.
I also stitched on this layout.
I LOVE doing that and it is significant to this layout because the LOVE of sewing was passed down to me by my Mom who received it from her Mom, my Grandma!

What a wonderful layout - the emotion comes through in the way you have composed this (nicely using the inspiration sketch) and the photos themselves. I love it when a layout actually works to focus the attention on the people and the feelings. This does so beautifully.
