Jingle Belles Week #10...

Here's the link...
So Rose wants a little reminiscing...
Okee dokee!
When I think of Christmas I go to the music of the season...
I always love it when we start singing Christmas Carols in church and LOVE it when the chorister sneaks one in the last Sunday of November!!!
Like anyone would NOT notice?!
LOL...
Just trying to stretch that carol singing season out a smidge longer!
Works for me!
Since we only sing them for a few weeks that makes them extra special to me...
So I pulled out my stamps and got playing!
I made some BIG tags this week...
I would like to have some ready to use when our giving season starts again...
I made four...
I also stamped some Poinsettias.
I love them and wish I could have plenty of them around during Christmas time,
but I just don't have the space!
Here's a closer look at one of the tags...
I used...
T!m Holtz Tag Die
Zing Opaque White embossing powder
Merry Christmas organza ribbon
Handheld office punch and 5/8" circle punch
Green brads
CS - white, red and green
Fibers!!!
SU inks - Garden Green
- Summer Sun
- Ruby Red
Stamp Sets used - Hero Arts Musical Background
- SU Paint Prints [53/232]

I stamped the first impression and then did NOT reink to get a "second generation" impression.
I did this on both the flower and 'leaf' images.
I really love how these turned out and would like to say THANK YOU to KristineB on SC
who posted a card and this is where I got my inspiration for the tags...

btw... I'm going to classify these as 'cards' to keep my card/page yearly tally simple
- - - - -
Card Tally for 2011 = 153 [68 are for Christmas]
SU Stamp Sets used in 2011 = 53/232

  4. These tags came out marvelously - I did zoom in to get a better look at them and I think the embossing adds just a little something something to sparkle with the vibrant poinsettia colors. BEAUTIFUL! You are going to have so many wonderful Christmas tags and cards to enjoy and share this December!

You should link your technique here to the Opus Gluei - all about tricks and techniques this week
