I spent this past weekend AWAY from it all!
Jocelyn and her family are SO wonderful!
It's a fantastic spot to play with paper... or fabric... or yarn...
Whatever floats your boat!
If you NEED some time away, I highly recommend it.

Here is what I was stampin' and playin' with all weekend!
I started with these gorgeous glittery creatures!
I started with these gorgeous glittery creatures!
I used a swirl embossing folder and a polka dot one too!
I also used the SU die cut strip "Northern Frost", that cuts a variety of snowflakes...
...and an edge punch, circle punch...
I also got out my Dazzling Diamonds and went to town on the snowflakes!
I've been bit by the glitter bug....
and I like it!
I don't want to make everything shimmery...
But it just works with some things...
Snowflakes are one of those things!
I used several different scraps from my 'blue' scrapfiles...and whisper white CS.
I made 6.
I was inspired by these cards...

but I used the 'Santa' image from the SU Just Beclause set [128/232]

I also used the 1" square punch and the scallop square punch...
with several Christmassy papers.
I highlighted the circled 25th with a smidge of red ink applied with a cotton swab.

'Sleigh Full of Toys' [129/232]
was the next SU set I used for this fun card.
I also used a Santa post stamp that I have had forEVER!
'Snow Flurries' [130/232] was used on this card.
I had some leftovers from the previous card and I just had to use them up!

This card inspired me...
and I made 2 of them...
...and the leftovers...
... I left the sentiment off...
I'll add it when required.... or not at all...

These cutie-pa-tooties have been waiting a long time to get out of my head!
LOVE the Spellbinders Postage Nestabilities!!!
I cut the folded whisper white cs with the largest size.
I used 'Holiday Mail' stamps by "gel-a-tins", white
chipboard ampersands, various pps, ink...
and twine!
Plenty of twine was used over the weekend...
LOVE twine!
