My September 2011 cards for the Christmas Card Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers...
I saw this card a while ago...
Loooooved it!!!

I made 6 and they turned out like so...
I did not have the same stamps...
SHOCKING, I know!
But I do like how these substitutes worked out.
Here's what I used...
Nestabilities - Labels 8
- Small Classic Rectangle [altered]
Stamps - PSX [Nutcracker] F-211
Hero Arts, Classic Holly
SU, 'Four the Holidays' [Merry Christmas] [118/232]
CS - white & red
Inks - Versafine, Onyx Black
- SU, Going Gray
-SU, Real Red
Misc. - various ribbons
Unfortunately PSX is another company that is no longer in the business...sad....
I'm really diggin' the black & white & red colour scheme.
Clean... well... not so clean... I inked every edge I could!
Anyhow...sort of a 'clean & simple' card...
About as c&s as I get anyway.
So glad to get these cute guys DONE!
I do love me some nutcrackers!!!
I did track down a place where I can pick up that specific stamp that Kelligirl used too...
I think I may just make it a preChristmas gift to myself.
He is indeed fantastic!

[I really need to ramp up my stamping IF I am going to reach my goal for the year...
Unfortunately thingz have taken the wind out of my sails and I am having a hard time finding 'inspiration' & gumption ....]
I am hoping that this too shall pass.
