Can it be done??
Well, sort of...
Today I spent a few hours with several other ladies at a ...
Stamp-A-Stack card gathering.
My friend is an SU demo and, a few nights this week, I helped her cut & prep
the multitude of card parts needed for this event.
So as a 'thank you' she asked me if I would like to go!
Once I'd consulted the calendar and realized that I could actually squeeze it in...
I was set!
What an absolute blast I had going from station to station getting all of my stamping DONE!
We created 3 of each of the 6 cards.
I saved the tweaking and adhering for later when I was at home.
So even though I didn't get ALL of the cards completed...
I did get all of the elements done!
It took me a few more times to finish them up...
I do have other things that require my attention...
5 kiddos and dh to name just the top two!
So...
...without further ado...
Here are the completed cards from that event...
This one is very vintagy...
LOVE IT!
You may or may not be able to see the shimmer on some of these cards...
I was taking fast pics of them before I handed them out at church..
But maybe if you enlarge the pic...it might show...
I did tweak some of the cards..
But I really loved how they all turned out and I was so inspired to!
This one is simple but really sweet too.
I don't own some of these sets so it's nice to do some cards with them!

Another set that I don't own...although this one I am considering...
I can see a variety of uses for it...

As I was assembling this one, I realized that it uses the same colours as my sister's living room!
Perfect card to send her!!!

This card is really fast to do but soooo pretty too!
The dazzling diamonds glitter makes those trees look like they've been kissed by frost!

Pink & grey are not a colour combination I would think of doing for Christmas cards...
But I quite like it!
With that small hit of bling in there...an embossing folder and a quick stamp
are all that's needed to get this card DONE!

These cards are my BONUS cards!!!
I was over at 'S's home one night to stamp some sentiments inside my cards.
[I don't have many sentiments, so I borrowed some from her! Thank you!]
When I arrived she had cut the parts out for these cards.
The tut for this can be found here...
There's a part 2 right after it as well.
It's SO easy to do....really!
So, not only did I get to finish up my 18 cards but I gained 4 more as well!
She really is a super SU demo!
Well, there they are!
Gorgeous cards if I do say so myself!
I would definitely help cut and prep again next year!
It was fun to do and many hands make light work...
even when you're playing with paper and stamps!
Now to get them IN the mail!
THAT seems to be my biggest hurdle!
Merry Christmas!

Card total for 2010 = 194!!!
I know! I can hardly believe it myself!
Woohoooo!
